BOOK OF TILES - 2005
BOOK OF PATCHING UP & MAKING DO - 2007
All books are printed under the label MM.Visual Catering and are an integral part of my practice.
In some of the books aspects of the economics of agriculture and the resulting altered productions of food are suggested.
In others, political or social issues are explored through decorative or architectural motifs, chosen or imposed, for what they might indicate of our lives and social context.

THE WORDS BETWEEN - 2008 [ed. 100] 12 short tales
He was poor and had no job. He carried scraps he found on his wonderings, all the way up the hill. There, he slowly put together a shack; he called it his home. Each day he went to find work but all he ever found were more scraps. Each of them he kept carefully and to each he gave a name. Each name he honed and carved in his mind. Each made-up name he cherished as his very own. And to make his life less sad he planted each name with care in the ground around his shack. Soon the names grew and people came to see them. They liked the names and left small offerings near the hut so that the man might plant some more. The man found he had a job.
Home Sweet Home, the Way We live - 2007
Social, economic and cultural contexts are imprinted on both the architecture and the decoration of our housing. In re-creating decoratives motifs based on old patterns an invading commercial visual culture is suggested. Lack of choice and poverty underlies Home, Sweet Home
Installation rue Pierre Leroux, Paris
