La Vie Amoureuse des Pommes [The Love Life of Apples] 2002-2006
The computer animation is a randomly self-renewing scenario of the transformation of apples by apple stickers from around the world. Based on a pattern reminiscent of old computer games, it addresses aspects of the economics of food production and consumption and the changing relationship between language, culture and identity in a trading world. It can run endlessly or is available as a short dvd. It was shown in Kyoto and Itami, Japan and in Kendall, Uk in 2006
