I am concerned with creating situations one can relate to physically and emotionally, either through own experiences or more common reference points such as film, local and world events. I am interested in narratives of nature and themes that explore the private and domestic dramas. Exaggerated, built narratives and structured lies dominates the projects I choose to work with.

The Bear- Hunter, the Fox, the Pig and the Duck symbolise social order- with the Bear as the dominant figure of the cultural set- up on the island; the symbol of man, power and bravery. -The Fox, (or the devil), has disguised itself as the face of Christ, -a beautiful young woman in the retelling of its experience.

The Pig’s caring nature has led to a high level of naivety as he reflects with gratitude the Bear- Hunter’s loving wife. The Duck eludes his enemies and endeavor to re- build broken dreams.

The Bear- Hunter, (a melodramatic embroidery) is an attempt to explore the truths and secrets on a small island, it is based on a true story and is a fragmented re-telling of actual events.

We hear accounts of a particular happenings, told to us in three variations- 3 individuals represented as the Fox, the Pig and the Duck. The three individuals all want to hide their true identity in fear of retaliation but have been seduced into re-enactments of their emotional experiences from that time. They all have different takes on what actually happened and what they felt at that moment, never the less; their accounts are vital in the re-telling of this specific story where dramatic episodes revolved around the island’s Bear- Hunter and his loyal connections.
