I make radical decisions simplifying objects, language and daily situations. I removed the stickers from a Rubik’s cube, replacing them with white, thus creating an endless solution. I use the mundane to trigger universal recognition. A Post-it attracts the eye although written in Braille. Changes are so subtle that one must pay close attention. Pennies seem randomly poured, however, each faces up.My work’s “uneventfulness” challenges people to observe the ordinary beauty in our lives.
