These soft biomorphic woolen sculptures emit a living presence that invite the viewer to observe their special qualities, like beholding a lovable alien child that has unapologetic, perverse physical features and habits, or perhaps a rash . The ancient felting process using wool finds futuristic dimensions to occupy, accented by manufactured parts from the present. Some, like #2 'Tall Drawing', #6 'Scribbles', and #1 'Storm Scribbles border both sculpture and line drawing. Whether critters under a microscope, beings from other planets, or future mutant children my work suggests another possibility .
