Chris Bors' art is based on appropriation, autobiographical references and obsessive personality traits.
He uses a variety of media, including painting, photography, video and performance.
His source material varies from pop culture, imagery found on websites, and cartoons, to hardcore punk and metal music, such as the bands Murphy's Law and Slayer.
A dysfunctional and schizophrenic identity remains throughout his work, which can be traced to a steady childhood diet of television, video games and the hyperbolic acting of professional wrestling.
This new series of digital C-prints are made from copying images found on Web sites. He describes the practice of taking images from the web as virtual dumpster diving.
