Gloria Houng is a MFA 2012 candidate in Fine Arts at Goldsmiths, University of London. The submitted artworks are photographic documentations of framed and reframed moments that straddle the narrative and performative. Many are photographs of photographs, some are not. Narratively, they ambiguously encompass events that are perhaps part-travelogue, part-autobiographical. Performatively, they are caught between willful actions and contextual reactions.
