"Newspaper headlines. Kidnappings. Psycho killers. The collapse of the Catholic Church. Forensic TV shows. Mystery novels. Crime scene investigations. Suicides. Abandoned cars. Loneliness. Suspense thrillers. Newscasts. Being lost. Ghost stories. Mental hospitals. Night. Suburban blight. Dark corridors. Missing people. Secrets. Empty rooms. Sin."
"Uncomfortable human circumstance. This is what I seek to explore. Creating sleek, crisp canvases based on mysterious and ambiguous photographs I take, I aim to seduce viewers with a highly polished surface and subtle colors, then hit them with a muffled, slow moving jolt."
