My practice investigates and questions what constitutes the idea of vulnerability within contemporary art, specifically sculpture.
Vulnerability, refers to where a sculptural work may appear to look top-heavy, or gravity defying, within my own practice.I aim currently exploring on my Postgraduate Diploma at Chelsea College of Art,
Vulnerability through materials, wax and clay. Positioning creations on unconventional, architecturally styled plinth type supports. I will explore and retain “the air of vulnerability inherent to assemblage” (Leaver-Yap, I. 2008)
