My paintings propose a poetics of the human psyche - a peacefully delirious kingdom where association and metaphor coexist with rationality. Using a rich mix of compassion and humor, experience and innocence, criticism and acceptance, I work toward a dreamlike complexity to induce a mesmerized uncertainty.

Deploying fragments of stories, parts of dramas, mindful of their socialconstruct, I see parody as an underlying structure. Existing in acontemporary state of certainty and doubt, with its many distractionsand multifarious inputs, I do my art as an attempt to make sense of itall. To create a space for speculation, a visual stimulus thatencourages the eye and mind to wander.
