I am a sculptor, installation artist and photographer, although all of these areas of my practice overlap with and inform each other.
I am interested in strangeness and familiarity, and the ways in which these two seeming opposites can manifest themselves simultaneously in an object, image or place.
I have come to understand that, in some ways, my practice is analogous to Wittgenstein’s comments in relation to a nominal "essence of language", in that it too deals with “something that already lies open to view and that becomes surveyable by a rearrangement”.
