My work centers around natural and man made environments. Interventions within an outdoor landscape, using a specific site, and having a public audience to enable them is an area I am most recently exploring. My interest in landscape and the environment, come from my own upbringing in the Northwest and working within the national park system, exploring and observing. Interaction, perception and conformity are key to this work, as well the influence of time. In addition to temporary site specific work, I have also made installations, sculpture and videos. More subtle than not, their visual economy seems to enable these works to blend into their surroundings, at times even going unnoticed.
