Kate Peters was born in Coventry, England in 1980. She studied Photography at Falmouth College of Arts, Cornwall. After completing her degree she moved to London where she assisted a number of photographer�s including four years as first assistant to Nadav Kander. Since embarking on her own career, Kate has been working on several personal projects, including a series looking at female dominatrix.
In 2009 Kate received the Best in Book award in Creative Review�s Photography annual for a series taken at a religious theme park in Florida . Exhibitions include Photocinema at the Format Photography festival and Projected Landscapes at the Architectural Association.
