WINDscale 2007In this work an anemometer constantly measures the speed of the wind, this data is then used to control the frame rate and pixellation pattern of a video of the anemometer. The work has 13 discreet levels of interference based on The Beaufort Windscale which is a visual way of estimating windspeed based on how the sea looks.
The video is output locally as a live video, it is also broadcast online as a time-lapse video from the last 24hours and is available to download as a dynamic desktop screensaver which updates live through out the day.
