"Somatic Drawing"

In collaboration with dance artist Maija Mustonen.



An exploration of the mutual affect between two distinct bodily movements, that of a body dancing and that of a body drawing.
Both concurrently inhabit a space: the body dancing moves in space, the body drawing inhabits this space by the use of technology: a drawing tablet, a sound system, a projector. Each bodily movement reciprocally affects the other, generating a duet. The drawing is the constantly evolving tracing of this duet.
