Bibliography
Kim Collmer currently lives between Berlin and Cologne. Her work is about spaces- personal, architectural, cultural- which are inspired by her many travels. She grew up in a military family and has moved at least 26 times.

As a practicing artist she has exhibited her work and films worldwide, including White Columns, New York, the Arsenal in Berlin, and the Center on Contemporary Art in Seattle, with reviews published in the New York Times and the New Yorker magazine. Working with film, drawing, photography and sculpture, she focuses on landscapes both fantastical and real. Some of her landscape work deals with miniature synthetic environments, while her more recent work has used urban texture and form.
