Pei-Shih was born in Miaoli, Taiwan, 1981. She graduated with an MFA from Goldsmiths College in 2007, and currently lives and works in London and Taipei. Her works have been shown internationally, including at the 11th International Biennale Print and Drawing Exhibition in National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, which was in 2003. In the same year, she was selected as the youngest artist-in-residence at Stock20, Art Network of the Railway Warehouses in Taiwan. Her works have been collected by Council for Cultural Affairs and National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. In March 2009, she will have a solo exhibition at Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taipei, Taiwan.
