Drawn into the installation by the heightened clicking of the cane, the viewer (like the blind person evoked) is forced to feel around in the darkness. Recurring interests around the void, drawing and the uncanny pervade, whilst the context of the crypt (the site the piece was initially made for) increases the spiritual readings of the work.
