Cómplices y testigos 24-05 al 31-07 de 2014 Marcos Ávila Forero Ivan Argote DEMOCRACIA Mounir Fatmi Núria Güell Iratxe Jaio & Klaas Van Gorkum Bouchra Khalili Levi Orta Mireia Sallarés Inauguración: sábado 24 de mayo a partir de las 12h ADN Galería: Cómplices y Testigos. 24 de mayo 2014 – 31 de julio 2014 AND Platform: La Ciudad Rebelde y Micro-acciones de emergencia #3. 24 de mayo 2014 – 25 de octubre 2014 ADN Galería presenta la exposición colectiva Cómplices y Testigos, que parte de la idea del artista como cómplice y testigo de dinámicas sociales que requieren de su implicación, compromiso y de un posicionamiento activo que trasciende la denuncia. ADN Platform presenta el proyecto expositivo que ganó nuestro 1r Curatorial Challenge, The Rebel City, comisariado por Miguel Amado. La exposición examina el espacio urbano como un lugar de lucha anti-capitalista. Los trabajos expuestos se implican simbólicamente con el disenso evocando la iconografía, las raíces intelectuales y los objetos de protesta. También inauguramos el tercer y último capítulo de Micro-acciones de emergencia#3 comisariado por el grupo de investigación de vuelta y vuelta, formado por Claudia Segura & Inés Jover. En esta ocasión se presentan los proyectos de Alia Farid y Pau Faus, propuestas que dialogan con el espacio público a través de la apelación a la comunidad que habita ese espacio y contexto. --- Opening: Saturday 24th May from 12h ADN Gallery: Accomplices and Witnesses. May 24th 2014 – July 31th 2014 AND Platform: The Rebel City and Micro-actions of emergency #3. May24th 2014 – October 25th 2014 ADN Gallery presents the group show Accomplices and Witnesses, which is based on the idea of the artist as an accomplice and witness of social dynamics requiring an active implication, commitment and a positioning which goes beyond the act of denouncing ADN Platform presents the the first Curatorial Challenge winner project, The Rebel City, curated by Miguel Amado. The Rebel City examines the urban space as a site of anti-capitalist struggle. The exhibited works engage with dissent symbolically, by evoking the iconography, intellectual roots, and material culture of the protest. We will also show the third and last chapter of Micro-actions of emergency#3 curated by the research group de vuelta y vuelta (Claudia Segura & Inés Jover). In this occasion the projects by Alia Farid and Pau Faus dialogue with the public space through an appeal to the community that inhabits that space and context.
