Hales Gallery is pleased to present its second exhibition with Frank Bowling OBE RA. The exhibition focuses on works made over the past two years and have never been exhibited before. Recent Paintings at Hales Gallery coincides with, Drop, Roll, Slide, Drip...Frank Bowling's Poured Paintings 1973-1978, a display of works at Tate Britain from 30 April 2012-31 March 2013. Hales Gallery: Recent Paintings Private view: Wednesday 30 May 6-9pm 31 May - 27 July Tate Britain: Drop, Roll, Slide, Drip...Frank Bowling's Poured Paintings 1973-1978 until 31 March 2013 Tate Britain presents a concise display of Bowling's magnificent poured paintings begun in the 1970s. These special one-room Focus Displays take a look at important artists, themes or periods of British Art. Migrations: Journeys into British Art until 12 August 2012 Bowlings work is also included in this exhibition that explores British art through the theme of migration from 1500 to the present day.
