WANG KEPING ALL SMILES a new body of works Worldwide famous Chinese sculptor Wang Keping offers a singular installation in the French capital. "All smile", recounts a strong conceptual anchorage by the wood exploration. This way, Wang Keping makes sculptures and installations coexist and even superimpose, he mixes words and images, he resizes the space and transcend the concept of total art. Real pioneer of contemporary Chinese art, Wang Keping goes further for All in smile covering all the architectural development with the bricks through a game of forms that corresponds to many significations. Each change of observer angles match with a change of interpretation and emotion.The whole work of Wang Keping includes a message of wisdom, introducing both a subtle eroticism and an appeal to the individual resistance. The artist is known all over the world and his works travel, from Beijing to Tokyo, through Hong-Kong and New York where the exhibition Retrospective at the Today Art Museum “Origin Point” was dedicated to him in 2007. The fact that the artist reveals his artistic inspirations transmits to the spectator a strong emotion about his creations. He confesses himself: “I go the way where things express a presence” --- Pour cette exposition inattendue, le sculpteur chinois propose une sélection non moins singulière dans la capitale française. "Tout sourire relate un ancrage conceptuel fort par l’exploration du bois et balise l’espace de la galerie par de fortes détonations inventives. Wang Keping fait ainsi coexister jusqu’à se superposer sculpture et installation, il brasse les mots et les images, il redimensionne l’espace et fait transcender la notion d’art total. Véritable pionnier de l’art contemporain chinois, Wang Keping va plus loin pour Tout sourire, en parcourant l’éventail de développement architecturaux permis par les briques à travers un jeu de formes qui ouvrent sur une pluralité de significations. A chaque changement d’angle d’observation correspond un changement interprétation et d’émotion. L’ensemble de l’oeuvre de Wang Keping porte un message de sagesse, où se mêle à la fois un érotisme subtil et à un appel à la résistance de l'individu. L’artiste est mondialement connu et ses oeuvres voyagent, de Pékin à Tokyo en passant par Taipei, Hong-Kong et New York où une exposition rétrospective au Today Art Museum « Origin Point » lui est consacré en 2007. L’artiste laisse transparaitre ses inspirations artistiques fait actionner chez le spectateur une vive émotion de ses créations.
