Tomma Abts Opens 6.30 to 8.30pm Friday the 4th of November 2011 Until 14/1/12 11am to 6pmTuesday to Saturday The gallery will be closed from 23/12/11 until 3/1/12 greengrassi is pleased to announce Tomma Abts' fourth exhibition at the gallery and her first since 2006. The artist will present a series of new paintings. Tomma Abts was born in Germany in 1967 and lives and works in London. Her work is currently featured in 'The Indiscipline of Painting' at the Tate St Ives. Solo exhibitions include Kunsthalle, Dusseldorf (2011), Hammer Museum, Los Angeles (2008), Kunsthalle Kiel (2006), Kunsthalle Basel (2005) and Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven (2004). Abts was the winner of the 2006 Turner Prize.
