So cheat your landlord if you can and must, but do not try to shortchange the Muse. It cannot be done. You can't fake quality any more than you can fake a good meal. (William S. Burroughs)
What is more intimate than touching someone's face? Gently rubbing their eyes and lips to get them just so. We want a reminder of their greatness. We want them fixed in time with all their glory and despair. This is our Illuminati, the council of elders, a dinner party wish list serving Beluga and Dom. Like Bill and Ted flying through time collecting greatness in order to save the world we have culled our shepards.
Ladies and Gentlemen: Haile Selassie, T.E. Lawrence, H.R., Mary Shelley and Lavina Jenkins.
