Long list announced for Griffin Art Prize 2013
Griffin Art Prize judges; curator Zavier Ellis; artist Andrew Grassie; art critic Jessica Lack and arts foundation chair Jenny Linden Urnes have selected 20 artists for the long list of the Griffin Art Prize 2013. Visit www.griffinartprize.co.uk to view the works.
Each of the long list wins a year’s artists subscription at re-title.com. The short list will be announced 7th October 2013 and the short list exhibition opens 6th November 2013 at the Griffin Gallery www.griffingallery.co.uk before touring to High House gallery www.highhousegallery.com and White Moose Gallery www.whitemoose.co.uk
The overall winner receives a residency and a one person show at the Griffin Gallery. Until 27th September at the Griffin Gallery is Griffin Art Prize 2012 winner Alzbeta Jaresova. www.griffingallery.co.uk
