Artist in Residence 2009, S1 Artspace, Sheffield, UK

This summer S1 Artspace will host its forth artist residency from 24th July - 27th September 2009. The residency will be followed by a solo exhibition in October / November 2009.

The residency is supported by a £1,500 production fee, a £500 travel budget and accommodation in Sheffield. The resident artist will have sole use of the project space to use as a studio which is located centrally to the twenty S1 studios.

Previous Artists in Residence include Pil and Galia Kollectiv (2008) George Henry Longly (2007) and James Pyman (2006).

Applications are welcomed from artists based in the UK and overseas.
