Berwick Gymnasium Fellowships, UK

Professional artists are invited to apply for this prestigiuos opportunity. Two selected artists will live and work in this historical town and produce a new body of work in response to the location. Not open to recent (last three years) graduates. Fee, accomodation and studio space are provided.

The Berwick Gymnasium Art Fellowships were established in 1993 and are awarded to professional artists who have demonstrated a commitment to their practice beyond graduation and is a highly regarded opportunity.

Fellowship artists live and work in Berwick over the winter months when the gymnasium functions as a working studio.The results of this uninterrupted time allow them to produce a new body of work in response to this extraordinary border location.
