Picture This is one of the key organisations supporting artists’ film and video in the UK. This new role aims to give our audience access to ideas and knowledge articulated through our activities. We’re looking for somebody with a critical viewpoint and an enthusiasm for using the web and social media as a communication tool.
The successful candidate will deliver the production of new content for www.picture-this.org.uk, input creatively to our online programming through writing, assist in producing interviews with artists, coordinate any related content and contribute creatively to new projects. Outcomes will include generating critical responses to Picture This’ programme and other exhibitions and events as well as relating the wider critical debate around artists’ film and video back to Picture This’ community.
The DCMS Jerwood Creative Bursaries Scheme aims to springboard talented young graduates into their careers in the arts and focuses on offering opportunities for individuals from less affluent backgrounds.
Eligible applicants are *Arts students who graduated in 2009 or 2010 with a 2:1 or above, and received a full maintenance grant or a special support grant or were in receipt of a Hardship Fund throughout their degree.
