Call for Submissions - RSA - New Collective, Glasgow

RSA NEW COLLECTIVE

RSA NEW COLLECTIVE as part of its project for RSA NEW CONTEMPORARIES 2011 is looking for small work submissions for an exhibition within an exhibition themed around the artist knock off and counterfeit. RSA NEW COLLECTIVE encourages you to submit work, which deals with the overbearing influence of artists that have come before, literal copies, pastiches, kitsch novelty items, reference work, or fan art. Work should be on a small scale, no bigger than 40x40 cm, in the form of paint, print or small sculpture media. All work will be displayed in a unique and mobile way and will form part of RSA NEW COLLECTIVE's wider historical critique of the legacy of enlightened/romantic institutions'
ideas and ideals.
