MeetFactory - Call for exhibition projects, Prague

Exhibition projects in 2010 – The Cube Gallery

MeetFactory o.p.s. announces a call for exhibition projects in 2010 – The Cube Gallery. In 2011 we plan to provide six terms in a period of between April and October for selected registered projects. Standard length of exhibition is two and half weeks. MeetFactory offers basic background for installation. Project will be promoted in printed programme leaflets and in form of standard advertisement in MeetFactory (there will be no printed invitation cards).

Space dramaturgy aims at upcoming young domestic and foreign artistic generation. The space, a former boiler room of a technical glass factory, is not heated during winter and electric lighting is also improvised. Artists can use a huge impressive cube-like room (9,1m wide x 11,5 deep x 9 – 10,5m high). The room is monitored by a camera system and a gallery is open daily 3pm to 8 pm.

Registration ought to contain a short project description (format .doc about 20 rows), actual work sample presentation (link on website, that is PDF, JPEG, AVI, MOV in maximum size 1,5MB) and CV with contact information (format .doc or PDF).

The deadline is 30 November 2010 (stamp on posted materials or date of a received email). Information on selected projects will be published until 19 December 2010
