Angelika Studios - independent, artist run, work and project space launches inaugural Angelika Open

The inaugural Angelika Open is an open competition and exhibition inviting work from artists in any medium. Work should be recent. Size limitations are according to available space.
An award of £1,000 will be made to one selected artist and the winner will be offered an exhibition in the Gallery program
Angelika Studios is an independent, artist run, work and project space.
Housed in a former furniture factory, Angelika Studios includes a gallery space and cinema. Angelika's self-funded, core programme supports national and international artists and curators to initiate and exhibit work in High Wycombe. Angelika provides a meeting point for artists and ideas, encouraging discussion and engagement with contemporary art issues.

Maximum 3 works. 2 images per work in jpg format, (maximum size of image 1000kb). Please include a single page cv, a short statement no longer than 200 words about the work and information about materials and dimensions. Plus application fee
Exhibition:
Private view 9th November 2012 6-9pm.
Exhibition continues weekends of 10,11,17,18,24,25 November and 1,2 December 2012 12-4pm.
Location:
Angelika Studios Gallery, High Wycombe, HP11 2RH.
Reproduction of images:
If selected for the exhibition, the artist agrees to the reproduction of their work (at no fee) in association with the promotion of the exhibition.
Application fees:
Each application may include up to three pieces of work - the fees for entering work are as follows One piece of work = £10, Two to three pieces of work = £20
