Residency Scholarships

The Künstlerhaus Lukas invites artists working in the range of fine arts (painting, sculpture, graphic arts, photography, artistic book, video, arts and crafts/design), literature (narrative literature, lyrics, drama, screenplay, essay, literary translations), dance (choreography, perfor- mance) and music (composition) to apply for a residence scholarship.
There will awarded up to 120 scholarships for 2013 and 2014. The 100-year old Artist house in the rich in tradition Ahrenshoop gives good working and living conditions up to seven artists in residence and it is located in a very beautiful and attractive landscape. Selected houses and institutions in Sweden, Lithuania, Iceland and the Russian Federation complete the international scholarship program.

The value of each scholarship in the Künstlerhaus Lukas is at least 500 € up to 1000 € per month. In this amount the costs for travelling are included. Your apartment is free. In September 2012 an independent jury will to notify its decision. Availability is subject to the annual amount of sponsoring. Artists from abroad have the possibility to get contributions to their costs for travelling from their own ministries.
