Artist Film Screenings 2015 at KARST

KARST will be showcasing a selection of contemporary artist films during a two day event in January 2015. Developments in digital technology during the last decade, in particular, have greatly advanced the aesthetics, accessibility and distribution of artist film and video. In response to the subsequent surge of interest in the medium, the programme will celebrate the diverse, progressive and experimental approaches by artists working with moving image. Films will be chosen through open submission, by a panel of specialists in the field. UK and international submissions are now being accepted for a wide-range of single-screen films, including short and feature-length films, performance, and artists video.

Submission Guidelines:

Entries must include, a film summary, artist bio, and a URL Link to video online.
There is no fee to submit.
Applicants can submit one film only.
Applicants will be notified by email.
All rights on videos remain the property of authors.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
