Hackney Road sculpture competition

The Hackney Road Sculpture Prize is an exciting competition to find a new and unique sculpture which will be included in regeneration plans for Hackney Road. The sculpture will be placed in the heart of a new mixed-use development by Regal Homes and could become a future local landmark!
We are writing to ask you to get involved and help spread the word about this incredible opportunity for sculptors in London. This competition is open to professional and emerging artists and the winning artist will see their work made and exhibited as a public work of art, and will also receive a £1,000 cash prize.
Entrants will need to submit a sketch or model of their design and complete our competition entry form (attached) including a short biography (300 words max) about themselves, their work and their inspiration for this piece. Leading London developer Regal Homes are keen for the new public realm to be inspiring and reflect this vibrant area’s creativity.
Competition entries must reflect the theme of ‘Regeneration’ and be suitable for display in an outside courtyard and able to withstand the weather.
