THE CROW SHOW 2015 - Homage To The Raven
The Studio Door, 4434 30th Street, San Diego
Deadline: November 30, 2014
Application fee: $35

THE CROW SHOW: Homage to the Raven is a national exhibition of visual art running from February 6 – 28, 2015 at The Studio Door.
Found in nearly every corner of the world, Crows (Corvus) are considered one of the world’s most intelligent animals. They can create and use tools, communicate to each other and are highly social creatures.
In mythology, Crows have fascinated mankind. For some cultures, they heralded important news and symbolized the unity of marriage; while for others, the crows took on an ominous and dark role in war and death.
The Studio Door is seeking artwork that represents the many faces of the Crow in reality and fantasy.
At some point in an artist’s career, it seems that a black bird arrives on canvas. What will your’s look like? Show us what the Crow means to you.
