33OC seeks proposals from international artists interested in working in a quiet medieval village for a one-month period. The program offers artists the opportunity to confront new ideas or experiment with their work in the particular territory of Sabina region.
33OC AIR program was developed to become a space & community where international artists can share places, experiences and sensibilities.
The residency is hosted within a renovated 13th Century church/theater building, which also hosts various cultural activities for the community (theater, concerts, and various classes.) Located in Toffia
- a small medieval hilltop village in the middle of Sabina, an olive oil producing area about 60km NE of Rome.
Deadline: MAY 31, 2016
Duration: 1 month: SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, NOVEMBER 2016
Eligibility: The residency is open to individual professional artists working in: visual arts, photography, environmental arts, film & video, media arts, performing arts, music/sound art and literature.
Cost to Artist: 250 Euros per artist/month
